What are Libre Infancia’s short term goals?
Libre Infancia would love to enlarge its preschool to be able to help 200 children as there are many children that continue to suffer in the dump. We would also like to improve the furniture and equipment that are used for the daily tasks of the school.

Another concern for Libre Infancia is maintaining a premises to educate these children. Currently our monthly rent is extremely expensive (Q.10, 000.00). Our hope is to buy a property that would be able to carry out enlargements that would permit 300 children to attend.

What are Libre Infancia’s long-term goals?
Without any doubt “El Mundo de los Niños” is the most ambitious of Libre Infancia’s goals. It is intended to be a “mini city” in which there will be 30 houses and 20 apartments to house, with approximately 500 children in total. Here there will be everything, from streets, avenues, school, workshops, factories, a farm, agriculture, swimming pools, areas for sports and recreation and a hospital. There will be a park and a church where Libre Infancia will bring the children to live and dream of a better future, a church which longs to improve the children’s lives and help their families.
What does Libre Infancia need at this time?

It needs more sponsors to compromise their monthly salaries with a small donation, businesses can provide anything from perishable food to shoes and clothes for the children or missionary support from churches and associations. Our immediate requirements are for five desks and 5 blackboards for the teachers, a portable and a desktop computer, a washing machine, a photocopier, an industrial stove and a School Bus.

The time and work of volunteers, as nannies and teachers, is among the most important help you can give so that we can provide the children with better attention.
