Libre Infancia is not affiliated with any political ideology, government or Christian denomination. Rather, Libre Infancia is a member of a confraternity, Youth Challenge International (a ministry which gives support to ministers, missionaries, and churches). In order to carry out our mission, we have different means of financing:

Non-Monetary Donations

DONATIONS: Donations are crucial to the financing of our ministry. We are extremely thankful to those who do contribute. Without donations we would not be able to help our children.
OUR OWN FUNDRAISING: To finance ourselves, we have organized workshops where the mothers of the children can participate in sewing classes. Libre Infancia then hosts bazaars where these elaborate articles of clothing can be sold. These workshops allow the mothers to learn a trade and establish a sense of pride in their creations and their culture.
SPONSORS: Our Sponsors are individual people who monthly contribute Q.300.00 ($40.00 US) to support a child.
SUPPORT OF CHURCHES: Churches are given a DVD about the Libre Infancia ministry which is presented during a church service. Members of the congregation then have the opportunity to give a special contribution to Libre Infancia.
NOT MONETARY DONATIONS: Libre Infancia receives non-monetary support from businesses that donate food, clothes, hygienic equipment and first aid items. This aid is of the utmost importance because it helps us to cover our main daily needs.
