Accustomed to contributing to the survival of their families through long working hours, most children on the dump have lost any interest or motivation for education. As part of the process of providing children with free assistance, Libre Infancia, with the support of another educational institution, provides 100 scholarships for children to carry on with further education, receiving special assistance to learn and tools to help them compensate for the deficiencies created by their own environment. This education is vitally important because it contributes to the growth and development of children. Libre Infancia also offers tutoring for children who attend primary school.
